We fund medical research to cure neurological disorders!

Story

I, Peter Cabble, proprietor of Foundry Garage at Street, reach the age of Sixty-Five years young on the 13th August.

To celebrate the occasion, on 8th August, I am going to drive my Reliant three wheeler to Monte Carlo (a bit of a gamble), some two-thousand miles round trip, with my wife, Daphne, navigating. We expect to arrive in time for my Birthday. Yes, it is a long way, but who else can say they have done it!

A number of people having heard of our expedition suggest that as it is such an unusual thing to do, it would be tremendous if a charity could benefit from our efforts. We agree and have selected ‘Funding Neuro’ as one with a real need.  In fact, my brother-in-law has suffered with this illness for nearly 20 years and recently has undergone a pioneering brain operation at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, which has made a significant improvement to his life.

For more information on my chosen charity, please visit  www.fundingneuro.com

Please give what you can, every penny counts.

Kind Regards

Peter and Daphne
