We will be running this year in aid of William Oliver Howgill, a colleague's son, who has recently been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.
We are raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust whose aims are;
to fund research into the development of a cure for the disease,
ensure appropriate clinical care is given to those with CF,
and to provide support to those affected by CF.
CF is the UK's most common life-threatening, inherited disease. 1 in 25 of us carry the gene defect which means 5 babies a week are born with the condition. Average life expectancy in the UK is 31 currently, and with your generosity, I hope William will be the beneficiary of a cure of this disease in his life time. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
