Hello!  Thank you for looking at my fundraising page.  Full details of the Challenge can be found at www.southpole2009.com but in summary the Challenge will involve hauling an 80kg sledge over a distance of approaching 200 miles climbing up to 10,000 feet and carrying everything we need to survive on the ice for up to 6 weeks.  The goal is to reach the very bottom of the world, the South Pole. The tyre pulling training regime is well underway.

Those of you who remember the North Pole Challenge of 2007 will recall that then I was raising money for Cancer Research.  It is my intention to raise money again for this worthy cause and I would be extremely grateful if you are able to make a donation.
