Story
This is my baby nephew Seth who, one week before his first birthday, was diagnosed with a 10cm cancerous tumour on his liver. He is currently in hospital in Bristol undergoing intense chemotherapy.
This is a horrible time for Seth and all the family, but this has been tremendously eased by the people at CLIC Sargent, who have provided a house to live in while the family have been uprooted from their home in Devon, transport to and from the hospital, and immeasurable support.
Although there is nothing I can do to help Seth, i know he is in wonderful hands, and so as a thank you to the people who are helping him, myself and two of my friends, Dan and Neil, will be going down to Bristol on 14 September to run the Bristol half marathon to raise money for this fantastic cause.
Please take the time to look at the work CLIC do, without them this heartbreaking time would have been so much more difficult for my family. Then please sponsor Dan, Neil and I as we drag our unwilling bodies round the course to raise money to enable them to carry on doing the work they do.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CLIC Sargent gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
