Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
My name is Peter West and on April 18th 2010 I will be running in the first annual Brighton Marathon. I am doing this to try to raise money for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
This will be my first Marathon and I hope to finish in one piece and help make a difference in helping The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. I am not a natural runner but enjoy a challenge and am currently training hard to get ready for the big day.
Guide Dogs for the Blind are a UK registered charity. They provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. They also campaign for the rights of people with visual impairment, educate the public about eye care and fund eye disease research.
Guide Dogs For The Blind have been expertly breeding and training guide dogs for more than 75 years, providing many thousands to blind and partially-sighted people of all ages and from all walks of life. They also deliver confidence-building rehabilitation services to adults, young people and children - including long cane mobility training and communication and daily living skills.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and help by donating now. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Again
Pete
