Thank you for visiting my Christie’s fundraising page.  I felt it was about time I did something constructive and got off my backside to do something to raise some money. 

As some of you will be aware, my Mother-in-Law Mary was recently diagnosed as having a lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Christie’s in Manchester.  The Christie Hospital has an exceptional reputation for cancer treatment and is doing a wonderful job to help get Mary back to health.

I will be running the Hamburg Marathon at the end of April 2008 and thought that if I'm going to run 26.2 miles, the least that you can do is to sponsor me!   I can't think of a more worthy cause than supporting Christie’s.  For every pound we raise, Barclays Bank is going to match pound-for-pound, so what better reason do you need… please dig deep.
