Story
Having completed the Leeds Half Marathon back in May and with dreams of London 2012 in mind I foolishly signed up for the Great North Run.
I will be raising money for CAFOD who work to end poverty and make a just world in over 60 countries. CAFOD work alongside the poor regardless of race or religion and build global partnerships for change. They also campaign for a fairer world and put faith into action. They are currently working across Africa with some of the poorest people on Earth as well as helping with the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East .
To make things easier this time I have set up a website where you can donate as little or as much as you can afford to show your support for me.
To those of you who supported me last time I would like to say a big thank you, it made a real difference on the day knowing that I had your backing, it would be great to know that you are behind me again in the Great North Run. To those of you who didn’t give last time or who have a grudge to settle the Great North Run is televised live on the BBC so at least pay for the privilege of seeing me in pain!!!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CAFOD will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
