Running a 5k on your 5th birthday may not be first choice for most children but that is exactly what Phoebe wants to do. As you may know Phoebe had open heart surgery when she was 2 years old at GOSH. The care and consideration that we as a whole family received was second to none.

Phoebe has been fighting fit since her operation and is proud of her 'bravery scar'.  She instantly recognises the GOSH logo and is proud of 'her hospital'. 

After we mentioned that there was a run she could join in for GOSH we knew we would never hear the end of it unless we signed up.  Phoebe may not understand how far 5k actually is but she totally understands that she is raising money so that other little children can get their hearts fixed too. It is an honour to be her parents.
