MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Update 18 June....

Well, I made it and what an amazing experience it was and here's the photo to prove it.

The pink tutu was received with big smiles by my fellow cyclists,  the locals in the french villages and indeed Paris. I did feel a little self concious at Dover ferry terminal mind you ;o)

We cycled through rain, shine, headwinds, hale storms and even a mini tornado.

A massive thank you so much for all your support - I continue to be blown away by everyone's generosity and it really did help get my to the Eiffel Tower.

As always - lots of love

Sara, Snood, Ploppy xx

Update 26 April....

Thank you so very much to all of you who have sponsored me so far, it really does keep me motivated to go out on that bike when my legs, bottom and mind are willing me not to. Because of you all being so generous, I have made my original target of £2000.00, so am now upping it to £2500.00.

It's 7 seven weeks to go and am getting my new bike today which I'm hoping is going to make all the difference as it weighs about half that of my other bike. You can have your bike back now Polly ;o)

Thank you thank you thank you again for all of your support

WIth lots of love

Sara (aka Ploppy, Snood) xx

Hello,

As you may or may or not know my lovely big sister, Libby, was diagnosed with MS earlier this year so this is a very personal cause for me. Since deciding to do this bike ride, and as such talking to a lot of people, I am quite shocked by the number of people who are also affected in some way by this horrible disease.

I'll be cycling 450 kilometres over 4 days for this very worthy cause, so please sponsor me, your support will spur me to the finish when my legs won't!
