Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Brighton Marathon on 18th April 2010. I have chosen to raise money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
I have never run this sort of distance before and knowing that I am raising money for a good cause will get me over the finish line- even if it is on my knees!!
The charity provides the support and management for the Cornwall Air Ambulance, which was the first dedicated air ambulance service in the UK.
The service is financed solely by public fundraising and donations and in 2010 the cost of keeping the Cornwall Air Ambulance flying and serving the community is expected to be between £25,000 and £30,000 per week.
