I'm rowing the Atlantic in a team of 14 to break the current rowing record.  We're setting out from Gran Canaria on December 15 2007, hoping to cross the ocean within 35 days and 8 hours.  This record is currently set by a French team and is 15 years old.  It is high time it was broken. 

I'm rowing for 2 charities as mentioned above.  Both are in aid of my gorgeous Mum, who recently lost her brief battle with cancer.  She was fantastically well looked after by St Margaret's Somerset Hospice during her illness and was the organist at our church in Stawley.
