My story

Pompey fans (and many other people too) have responded generously to previous appeals to support creditors left high and dry by the mismanagement of Portsmouth Football Club.  These previous appeals can be seen at http://www.justgiving.com/pompeyfans4stjohnsambulance http://www.justgiving.com/harbourcancer and  http://www.justgiving.com/pompeyfans4scact

Faith and Football is owed £1998 by the Club and this appeal aims to help plug this funding shortfall.  Many Pompey fans will know this charity through Linvoy Primus' legendary community work.  

Please contribute and thank you to everyone who has donated to any of the Pompey fans charity appeals so far.

[Important note: In contributing in this way to Faith and Football the intention is that Pompey fans are able to fill the void left by the Club's irresponsible behaviour.  It is not intended that this should give the Club's owners any excuse not to pay off the debt themselves. No Pompey fans should be expected to bail out those who have put PFC into its current desperate state.]

Established in 2002 Faith & Football is a Christian Charity that seeks to serve the young people and families of our inner cities and to partner with projects overseas that work within poverty stricken areas. We use football as a means of building relationships within local communities to impart life skills and provide the benefits of much needed role models for young people.
