Oh yes, you'll probably want to know what I'm doing to deserve your donation. Well, I'm cycling from Portishead (my spiritual home) near Bristol, to Porto in Portugal.

I'm doing this in memory of my Dad, Jim, who 10 years ago sadly died far too young at the age of 55 from melanoma, a form of skin cancer. At the time there was a lack of conventional treatment options available, so I am raising money to further research into preventing, diagnosing and treating different types of cancer.

I'm starting on 10th of May and hopefully, 2,000km later, will reach Porto by the end of May. So you can sponsor me by the number of punctures I get, the number of blisters or the number of jars of Nivea I get through!
