Thanks for taking the time to visit Steve & Maryann's JustGiving page.Marathon day last year Steve & I decided to run the Brighton Marathon 2013 together. Since we started training we have been pounding the streets together & put in some mileage. It hasn't gone without a glitch along the way as at some point we've both been ill or injured. We are jointly raising money for the same charity in memory of Maryann's sister Debbie and hope to meet our target with the generous help of all our friends. This is how your money will help this amazing charity just a £1 is all we need.

• £1 could buy a room thermometer, to help maintain a safe temperature for babies.
  
  
• £5 could pay for a Bubbalicious information pack, raising awareness of our safe sleep messages among teenage parents.
  
  
• £14 could provide one hour of helpline support from trained advisors.
  
  
• £110 could train A&E staff in how best to support families when a baby dies.
  
  
• £276 could provide two bereaved families with specialist weighing scales to help monitor the health of their new baby.
  
  
• £438 could alleviate the anxieties of a bereaved family by providing a breathing monitor for their new baby.
  
  
• £550 could train bereaved parents who wish to support other families in the future.
  
  
• £1,250.00 covers the cost of a Family Day Out for 100 adults and children. The days are held at family friendly venues across the UK, and give bereaved families the opportunity to receive support in a relaxed, informal setting.
  
  
• £4,596.00 enables us to produce 60,000 copies of our BabyZone infanthealthcare booklet. Promoting safe baby care through leaflets and cards is a simple and cost-effective way of ensuring that our life-saving messages reach parents across the UK.
  
  
• £5,500.00 enables us to provide training and support to 15 volunteer befrienders. Befrienders are parents who have lost a baby and then go on to offer support to other bereaved families
