Story
On the 22nd May I am joining a team of
ten to cycle the Coast to Coast route from Whitehaven,Cumbria
to Tynemouth,Tyne & Wear a distance of circa 160 miles. Until recently I had not ridden a bike
for years and when I have done,not more than a few miles at a time. I have
bought a new bike and begun training and am now up to 25 miles comfortably but will
have to up my game to do over 50 miles a day across hill country but am
determined to do it for this worthy cause. Our chosen Charity is again BRAKE the
Road Safety Charity which does not get big press but does fantastic work which
should be recognised by all of us who use the roads so frequently. Find out more on
