Fundraising for Thames Hospice
Story
For 2016 we have chosen a well deserving local charity - Thames Hospice - as our Charity of the Year (CotY).
Our fundraising efforts were kick-started in January 2016 with an uplifting and positive presentation from the staff at Thames Hospice who showed us first-hand the great work they do.
Thames Hospice services are available to adults who have a serious illness from which they are not expected to recover. Their vision and mission is a world where adults in our community facing end of life are cared for, feel supported and achieve a good and dignified death by providing the best palliative care, whether at home or in the hospice.
