45 scouts from Harpenden & Wheathampstead and Cambridge are going to HoHoe District in Ghana for 6 weeks in the summer to build a community centre/scout hut to install computers in six of the local schools, to provide school materials for these schools and to provide camping equipment for Scouts in the Hohoe District, Volta Region.  The team are fundraising and for the building materials and land for this project.

We recently purchase an 1 1/2 acres of land near to the village centre and are now looking to raise the remaining funds needed to build and equip. 

Various events are taking place, including 24 hour famine, sponsored triathlon, sponsored parachute jump, quiz nights, wine tasting etc.

All donations would be very much appreciated and the money will be put to good cause.
