We are four international students - from Brazil, Hong Kong, and Poland - who have just graduated from Radley College, in the UK, and want to give deprived Ugandans and refugees a chance to escape poverty through education in one of the poorest regions in the world: East Africa. 

Coming from countries relatively poorer than the UK has fuelled our desire to help. But compared to Brazil and Poland, people in countries such as Syria, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda, to name a few, are even more impoverished and need our help. We believe in the transformative power of education and that it is the best way to escape destitution.

Currently, there are 250 children in an average Ugandan classroom. Imvepi, the refugee camp we want to build a school in, hosts around 60,000 refugees (with an ever-growing figure given the civil war in South Sudan, which shares a border with Uganda) of school-going age, where there are 11 primary schools and only 1 secondary school.

What's the plan?

To raise up to £30,000 alongside Xavier Project in order to build a Community Run Learning Hub Centre in Imvepi, Northern Uganda for an already existing institution with no facilities whatsoever. But to do so, we need your help!

Our partner, Xavier Project (www.xavierproject.org), is a registered UK charity which has enabled over 12,000 children in East Africa to go to school.

Once the money has been raised, we will hire a construction company, visit Imvepi, and meet the children and families we will all be giving an educational opportunity to.

We will also be walking the Camino de Santiago - a well-known route in Spain - in the Summer of 2018 to help raise funds for our project.

We believe this could be a very successful and beneficial project that will transform lives through education. However, in order to make it happen, we need your help! 

Any and all donations will mean a lot to the children in Uganda.

Somos quatro estudantes internacionais - do Brazil, Hong Kong e da Polônia - que querem dar Ugandenses e refugiados uma chance para escapar a pobreza por meio da educação em uma das regiões mais pobre do mundo: O Leste da África. 

Vindo de países relativamente mais pobres que a Inglaterra nos deu a vontade de ajudar, mas comparado com o Brasil e a Polônia, pessoas em países como a Síria, Somália, Sudāo do Sul e Uganda, entre muitos, sofrem de ainda mais pobreza e precisam de nossa ajuda. Acreditamos no poder transformacional da educaçāo e a oportunidade de escapar a destituíçāo que ela ofereçe.

Atualmente, existem 250 crianças em média em uma sala de aula na Uganda. Imvepi, o assentamento de refugiados onde queremos construir nossa escola, abriga 60,000 crianças (com este numero aumentando diariamente dado a guerra civil no Sudāo do Sul, com o qual a Uganda divide uma fronteira) refugiadas, onde existem 11 escolas primárias e somente uma secundária.

Qual nosso plano?

Arrecadar até £30,000 em parceria com Xavier Project (www.xavierproject.org) para construir uma escola secundária em Imvepi, no Norte da Uganda, para uma instituiçāo existente que nāo possui instalações (literalmente ensinam embaixo de uma árvore). 

Nosso parceiro, Xavier Project, é uma caridade Britânica que possibilitou que 12,000 críanças no Leste da África possam ir à escola.

Uma vez que o dinheiro for arrecadado, iremos desenhar a escola, contratar uma empresa de construçāo, visitar Imvepi, e conhecer as crianças e famílias que iremos, juntos, dar uma oportunidade educacional. 

Iremos também caminhas o Camino de Santiago - uma famosa rota na Espanha - de bicicleta no verāo de 2018 para ajudar a arrecadar dinheiro para o nosso projecto. 

Acreditamos que esse projeto pode ser muito beneficial e irá transformar vidas por meio da educação. Porém, para que isso seja possível, precisamos de sua ajuda!

Jesteśmy piecioma zagranicznymi studentami - z Brazylii, Singapuru, Honk Kongu i Polski - obecnie studiującymi w Radley College w Wielkiej Brytanii, którzy chcą dać ubogim Ugandyjczykom i uchodźcom szansę na ucieczkę od biedy poprzez edukację w jednym z najbardziej ubogich regionów na świecie: w Afryce Wschodniej.

Pochodzenie z krajów stosunkowo biedniejszych niż Wielka Brytania napędza naszą chęć niesienia pomocy. Ale w porównaniu do Polski, a nawet Brazylii, ludzie w takich krajach jak Syria, Somalia, Sudan Południowy i Uganda, by wymienić tylko kilka, są jeszcze bardziej zubożali i potrzebują naszej pomocy. Wierzymy w transformacyjną siłę edukacji i że jest to najlepszy sposób na ucieczkę od nędzy.

Obecnie w przeciętnej klasie w Ugandzie jest 250 dzieci. Imvepi, obóz dla uchodźców, w którym chcemy zbudować szkołę, gości około 60 000 uchodźców (z coraz większą liczbą, biorąc pod uwagę wojnę domową w Sudanie Południowym, która dzieli granicę z Ugandą) w wieku szkolnym, w którym jest 11 podstawowych szkoły i tylko 1 szkoła średnia.

Nasz partner, Xavier Project (www.xavierproject.org), jest zarejestrowaną organizacją charytatywną w Wielkiej Brytanii, która umożliwiła ponad 12 000 dzieci w Afryce Wschodniej, uczeszczanie do szkoły.

Po zebraniu pieniędzy zaprojektujemy szkołę, zatrudnimy firmę budowlaną, odwiedzimy Imvepi i spotkamy się z dziećmi i rodzinami, którym damy mozliwosc edukacji.

Będziemy także jeździć Camino de Santiago - dobrze znaną trasą w Hiszpanii - latem 2018 roku, aby pomóc zebrać fundusze na nasz projekt.
