Story

We are Team PUMPED - because like our top-quality tap water, we're pumped.

Although the odds on us winning the 2010 Raft Race are perhaps generous at 100 to 1, we're in it not so much to win it but to raise money for a great cause, WaterAid.

And it's on the topic of WaterAid where, living up to our name, we get really PUMPED.

That's because WaterAid's work to provide clean, safe water and sanitation to people in places like Tanzania is the most worthy cause there is. This work saves people's lives.

So we're entering this race for three reasons:

1. To bring the fun

2. To sabotage would-be winners

3. Most importanly, to raise as much cash as possible for WaterAid.

Please give generously. Although we might be a lost cause, WaterAid is a great cause.

Yours, devotedly, Team PUMPED (Thames Water's corporate communications team: Mel Varcoe, Alice Cowie, Becky Johnson, Amy Dutton, Andy Freeman, Simon Evans)
