Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

On 12 July 2009 more than twenty enthusiastic volunteers will be running the British 10K in support of Dream A Dream (www.dreamadream.org), a children's charity. Dream A Dream is affiliated to the Mondo Challenge Foundation, which is a UK based charity.

The majority of street children living in developing countries are subject to unspeakable horrors and suffer in silence with nowhere to go. Dream A Dream is striving hard to improve the quality of life of thousands of such children in Bangalore, India by running various lifeskills programmes (sports, IT, creative arts etc.) and ensuring that these children are nurtured in an atmosphere of love & care and can have access to the best opportunities for education and learning.

Your contribution will go a long way in helping dis-advantaged children break the vicious cycle of poverty and dream of a better, happier life.

We have also roped in Dream A Dream's corporate sponsor - Mondo Challenge to sponsor the cost of sending one lucky PwC volunteer to Bangalore for a week where they will be given an opportunity to get a first hand experience of the fantastic work that the charity is carrying out! We promise to keep a blog and share the experience with you.
