Firstly thank you all for joining Quarantine Canteen. It's an absolute pleasure to cook with / for you all virtually, and is the highlight of my lockdown weeks! 

If lockdowns and COVID-19 have taught us something, it's the need for us to look out for one another more than ever. Unfortunately the virus has laid completely bare the levels of inequality the world faces, even in countries we consider "developed". 

Whilst children in the UK may have Marcus Rashford to look out for them, we sometimes forget that state help, no matter how poorly managed it might be, is something that many children in the world cannot even rely on. Plan UK does some fantastic work to help and protect some of the most in need and vulnerable humans on the planet - the next generation.
