Story

I would like to report on another successful Cycle Century Challenge.

Despite the promised freezing, windy, raining weather forecast, we were blessed with near perfect cycling conditions...a tail wind and virtually unbroken sunshine.!

Given these perfect conditions the Pedallers managed to average over 20 mph for long stretches of the fens, thanks to the sterling work of our group of strong riders who "pulled" the rest of us along in their slipstream for hour after hour!

At the post ride party, the assembled riders and guests were given the incredible news that up to 9.00 pm on Saturday the event had raised over One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust...

Thanks again to all the people who have again sponsored the Quorn Pedalers so generously.

Please have another look at the website in a few days, when I will have posted a few more photos of the Team to give a better flavour of the event!

Thanks again

Nick Wainwright
