On September 26th my father and I will be taking our first steps on Alfred Wainwright's Coast To Coast walk. The walk starts in St Bees on the west coast and finishes two weeks and 190 miles later in Robin Hood's Bay on the east, passing through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North York Moors. Why are we doing this? Well there are all kinds of reasons, but mostly to see if we can. At the same we thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money for a worthwhile cause. I chose Age Concern because sometimes it feels like we discard older people. I want them to know that the younger generations care, just like they've cared for us all these years.

Not only will your support motivate us - maybe we'll do something even tougher next year - but this is our chance to help others.
