Story
I’m really stupid. Since moving to London I’ve been ridiculously busy, but one of my jobs gives me a ridiculous amount of time to fold towels and stand daydreaming about life, ideas and thoughts so profound. And during one of my daydreams, I’ve decided to do 21 challenges in 21 weeks before my 21 birthday.
So here they are:
1. Liverpool Half marathon- 17 March 2013.
2. Paris Half marathon- 3 March 2013.
3. Edinburgh Marathon- 26 May 2013.
4. A mile on a space hopper. (The more people who want to join me on this one, the better!)
5. Learn how to say, “My name is Rachel” and “My favourite food is pineapple” in 21 languages.
6. Get on a TV show, preferably “Deal or No deal”!
7. Try 21 new foods (but not meat, yuk!)
8. Get into Drama School for 2013 Entry.
9. Make a proper birthday cake, like the amazing ones my Mum makes.
10. Write 21 postcards to 21 friends and family.
11. See 21 shows.
12. Write 21 reviews.
13. Cut my hair short.
14. A secret one.
15. Write regular blog posts.
16. Do 21 hours of volunteering.
17. Learn how to cook (I can’t cook!)
18. Raise £2,100 for Anthony Nolan.
19. Get into the World Record Book with something completely ridiculous.
20. Get as many people as I know on the AN register!
21. Give up chocolate. (By far THE MOST DIFFICULT ONE!)
So by making this group, there’s no getting out of me putting everything into completing the entire list. I’ll keep you up-to-date by posting photos, videos and posts on my #Rannah blog, which if you want to check out you can find at www.alittletoomuchinformation.wordpress.com
The 21 weeks begins on the 4 December 2012, and from then on if you dangle a piece of chocolate in front of my face, don’t be offended if I punch you.
I guess what I’m really asking for, is your support. A few years ago now, The Anthony Nolan Trust helped find a bone marrow match for my sister. They are a charity which I could never thank enough and by doing this hopefully together we can raise some money and awareness for all the life changing work that they do. If everyone could donate just £2.10, together we could make a really amazing amount of money for a charity very close to my family.
Thank you so much!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
