On the 19th July 2009, I'm hoping to run the 5km Race for Life at Westpoint, Exeter, in memory of my mum Jackie Lockyer who died of breast cancer in 2000, and my nan Sylvia Lockyer.

This race will be the 4th race I've participated in, but the first I'm not running with my sister. This year, Nik will be 6 months pregnant, but she's still walking the race!

It's also going to be the first mile stone towards my training for a half marathon at the end of the year, and ultimately toward the Flora London Marathon 2010, which I hope to run for the 10th anniversary since losing my Mum.
