The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thank you for visiting our Bushcraft and Survival Challenge fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Guide Dogs will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us - that's Cath (Daisy), Kevin*, Owain and Sam now!

WE DID IT!

Just so you know we spent three days living off the land on a private estate in the Lake District. Eating and living bushcraft in pure Ray Mears style, living in our own handmade shelters, building fires using friction methods, eating woodland food - all in October under the stars!  Unfortunately Kevin was hit by a bout of burstitis (a knee infection) the week before the event. Thankfully Alan stepped in to make the team up to strength.

Corporate support has been received from:

Corbridge Sandwich Shop £50

Corbridge Sandwich Shop had a collection box on the counter which was unfortunately stolen towards the end of September. The owner, Daren Philips, kindly donated the approximate value of the money in the box. Our apologies to all of his generous customers who ended up donating to yobs.
