Event: Asics British 10K London Run 2011, on 10 July 2011
We promote human values of caring & sharing to create a united human community

Story

Greetings! Thanks for checking this out.

I will be participating in The British 10K run / 'brisk walk' on the 10th July raising funds for International Association for Human Values (IAHV).

We fund and support humanitarian projects in various places around the world. Some of the projects that we have recently supported include:

-> conducting stress relief programs in Palestine

-> supporting run 129 schools in South Asia

-> The Sri Lankan refugee programme

-> Earthquake relief efforts in Haiti (http://nouvelleviehaiti.org/)

Please check out the website www.iahv.org.uk for further details. For our International website please visit www.iahv.org

One of the reasons why money given to us goes a long way is because we are essentially a volunteer organisation, so there are minimal overheads. The money donated goes virtually 100% to the project on the ground.  Please sponsor the work as generously as you can.

Best Regards,

Raj

About the charity

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) was founded in Geneva in 1997, to foster, on a global scale, deeper understanding of the values that unite us as a human community. Our aim is to promote an awareness of the importance of human values, encourage their development, and to initiate and support projects in the UK and throughout the world that meet the fundamental objectives of the IAHV organisation in Human Values (and which meet our criteria).
