Story
Following the success of last year’s trip, the Ramshackle Rally is back, and this year it’s bigger and better!
As many of you remember, last year the boys drove their ‘£100 banger’ (converted into a yellow submarine) and raced down to Valencia with 150 other themed cars. They won best car of the trip and managed to raise a bucket load of cash for the RNLI
This year our Grease themed car will (hopefully) be driving from Calais toSplit in Croatia: http://www.ramshacklerally.com/split/route.html.
All money raised from the trip will be donated to Tommy’s (the baby charity) in memory of Molly Frances McDonough who was stillborn on Sunday 27th January 2008. Molly was the very much wanted and loved daughter of our friends Phil and Natasha McDonough, and the very much wanted and loved First Granddaughter, Niece and friend of others. Molly was a beautiful baby, weighing 7lb 15 but sadly never drew her first breath. Natasha and Phil have chosen Tommy's as our charity this year to help prevent future stillbirths, and prevent other families experiencing the devastation that stillbirth can have by helping to raise money into research and support that is very much needed.
The car is ready and we're all set to go - fingers crossed we'll be bringing back all the prizes this year ;)
Please donate generously and many thanks for your support.
