Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

On 6th August 2009 Team Disco Inferno will be taking part in the Ramshackle Rally, a 4 day team event from Calais in France to Krakow in Poland. The Inferno Team consists of Andy Gibb, James Fothergill, Tom Bernie and Nathan Kew. The Rally rules state you can't spend any more than £150.00 on a car and has to be an N reg or older, and our pride and joy is a 1992 J reg Renault Espace with over 240k
miles on the clock which will be turned into a giant glitter ball. The 1,000 mile route starts in Calais and works its way through a number of European countries before finishing in Krakow 4 days later (if the car holds out). We are raising money for Leukaemia Research as its is close to the heart of Andy - whos uncle John suffered with the condition before passing away in 2006. The charity do
magnificent work towards research into the disease and how they can help save and prolong the lives of people who suffer with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and all blood cancers. Please donate generously as ALL proceeds will go to the charity and we are hoping to raise in excess of £2000.00.
