DEC - Pakistan Flood Appeal · 31 August 2010 ·

At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

James and Rachel Sherlock are putting on an informal flute and piano ‘soirée’ at short notice to help the urgent appeal for Pakistan.

We’d love you to join us at Holy Trinity Church in Rudgwick on Saturday August 14th at 7.30pm for an hour or so.

We will air some of the pieces we’re going to be playing on our cruise (departing the following morning) and parts of James' programmes for his forthcoming recitals at the Edinburgh Fringe and in London.

We’re keeping it really simple, no posh clothes, printed programmes or refreshments, but we hope as many as possible will help us in patronising the King’s Head afterwards, to thank them for their kind loan of car-parking space.

There’ll be no entrance fee, but you can donate now (the sooner the better) via this page!
