Just as an introduction, there are 6 of us who have chosen to climb Kilimanjaro and have selected Macmillan Cancer Support as our chosen charity.  We are all pilots who fly for Flybe with one exception.  The only brave female of the group who is an air traffic controller for NATS.  We are Martin, Chris, Paul, Dan, Emily and Tom.

Our trip starts on the 22nd of Feb, and we are trying to raise as much money as possible before that date.  We have set a target of £8000 but we would really love to exceed it if we can and we shall continue raising money after we return from our trip well into the summer.

Please please give as generously as you can afford.  No amount is too small and of course, no amount is too great!  It's going to support Macmillan Cancer Support which is a very worthy cause.  They do such a great job and rely heavily on donations to keep up their great work.  I'm sure cancer has touched most of us at some point through friends or family.  As an added incentive and for a suggested donation of £20 or more, we will enter donors into a draw (no donation necessary).  The winner of the draw will get the superb prize of a 1 hour instructional flight in a light aircraft.  The draw will take place on our return from Kilimanjaro.

We ourselves will be doing our best to raise money by any means necessary!  We shall be washing cars, doing collections, door to door knocking, running competitions and by any other means we can think of.  So if you see us around, please stop and say hello.... and feel free to donate!
