Story

Welcome to the redblue Tache Display Team's fundraising page (check out our  Facebook group for updates on how we're doing).

We're a moustache-growing collective who are raising cash for The Institute of Cancer Research and Everyman by growing dirty great taches for the entire month of September (see www.tacheback.com for more details).

The rTDT is made up of legends from media research agencies redblue and SPA, leading Battersea 5-a-side team The Northern Alliance and top London rugby club Croydon RFC. We're still recruiting, so if you think you've got what it takes let us know. The current team members are:

Joel Roach
Greg Sill
Paul Cummings
Andy Halstead
Richmond Adjei
Vincent Lenne
Hamish Asser
Chris Bland
Mark MacNaughton
Harry Ponsonby
Nick Gadsby
Dom Mahoney

I'm not sure many people outside the rTDT realise the commitment (both physical and emotional) growing a tache involves, so if you see any of the growers give them lots of encouragement and please dig deep to help out a very worthy cause.

The various members of the rTDT will be posting up pics and comments on our Facebook group page throughout September, and as an extra incentive all donors will be receiving an additional BeardWatch newsletter on a (roughly...) weekly basis which will feature a director's commentary, behind-the-scenes footage and deleted scenes.

The Institute of Cancer Research set up the Everyman Campaign in 1997 specifically to raise awareness of, and funds for research into, prostate and testicular cancer. All the money raised by TacheBack will go directly towards supporting research at the Everyman Centre, the only research centre dedicated to male cancer in Europe. All the money rTDT raises throughout the tache growing period will go toward helping these brilliant people.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Institute of Cancer Research & Everyman will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support and we'll keep you posted with our progress.
