Ruby Amelie Stinson was a beautiful, loving, courageous and very determined daughter.  She was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in January 2007.  After a roller coaster ride of doing well and not so well, she lost the fight and left us on the 7th April 2009 to dance with the angels.

During this time she visited Derian House Children's hospice for physiotherapy in the pool, respite care and to spend her last few days there.  It is a wonderful, homely and friendly place and they looked after Ruby and us so well, we can never thank them enough for making our last days together so comfortable.

Current fundraising events are "To The Moon And Back". A  21 track cd featuring a wide variety of music styles and  is a lovely tribute to Ruby. It is only £5.99 from our website www.rememberruby.co.uk .

The next event will be the 2nd Ruby memorial cup. A football match between supporters of Bury and Sunderland. Last years event raised close to £9000.00 for the hospice. All details are again at www.rememberruby.co.uk
