You all know the basic premise of these pages, so I'm not going to insult you by giving you the hard sell. I have a mailing list with your email address on, and until I see you've donated, I'm going to keep spamming you on a regular basis...

(Once you donate, I'll take your name off the list!)

When?

A TRIFECTA of athleticism, culminating in the Tokyo Marathon on the 28th of February 2011.

[7nov10] FIT for Charity 2010 10km - DONE

[28nov10] Kawaguchiko 27km Marathon - DONE

[27feb11] Tokyo 42km Marathon

Why?

To be honest, I've been bullied into this by Pete Jenkins, who has abused his position of authority to get me signed up and running these races.

Because he is a gifted athlete, he feels his team should also enjoy running on the weekends and spending nearly every second of free time dashing around outside wearing 'compression tights' - I kid you not. Sometimes he even wears his compression stockings into the office under his suit.. *shudder*

Who for?

I will be raising all the money for an excellent charity, one that is very close to my heart, the Richard House Hospice. A very good friend of mine lost his beautiful little child in 2005, and the Richard House Hospice helped him and his family out in their hour of need.

The Hospice is dependant on donations, no matter how small, so please dig deep and sponsor me through my 79km's of suffering, so hopefully someone elses suffering is made slightly more manageable.

How much?

The target (as you can clearly see above) is £5,000. Obviously I would love to smash this and I genuinely hope you all give generously.

If I manage to reach my target of £5,000, you get something back, namely the humiliation of yours truely - I will run the entire 42km Tokyo Marathon course wearing a Monkey costume..

And finally

I sincerly thank you in advance, I know how annoying it is to get sent these just giving emails all the time, but it is for an awesome cause, so please dig deep.

Two monkeys sitting in the bath together, one says "ooh ooh ah ah ah ah ah"

The other one says "Well put some bloody cold water in then".
