We are a group of 18 ladies from The People's College based at the Carlton Road Centre who walked in the Making Strides event at Wollaton Park two years ago, which we really enjoyed.   

This year we have decided to participate in the Race for Life event, at the Victoria Embankment on Sunday 4th June at 11.00am, some of the group will be walking and others will be running!   Having taken this decision to run we began by engaging  the services of our own fitness guru (Alan) to help us train for this event.  Training is going well (lunchtimes at CR if you want to join us!) and hopefully we can all achieve personal bests!
