Just a few days after Christmas Liz, my brother's girlfriend, mentioned she'd signed up for the Edinburgh Marathon and that I should too!  I was feeling a little bit too well fed and watered following all the festivities and thought, hell I ran cross country 15 years ago in school,  why not!  I've always wanted to run a marathon and here's my opportunity to give it a go.

The charity I've chosen to run for is Alzheimer Scotland which does incredible work campaigning for the rights of people with dementia and their families.
