I'm joining the cycle for gaza to raise much needed money and awareness for the Palestinian children of Gaza.

Cycling 4 Gaza will be supporting the Welfare’s work in the field of early childhood development. The Welfare Association is an international, non‐governmental, non‐political, non‐religious organisation that operates in the West Bank, Gaza and refugee camps in Lebanon.The funds raised will be split between 3 of the Welfare’s partner organisations:

Gaza Community Mental Health Programme (GCMHP)

Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children

Kanafani kindergartens

The Israeli offensive on Gaza in early 2009 had long‐lasting psychological effects on Palestinians living in the region.

The challenge is cycling through the hilly countryside and coast of Italy starting from the Leaning Tower of Pisa on the morning of the 28th of September and finishing at Colosseum in Rome, cycling an average of 85 to 90 km per day over four days.
