My intention is to trek Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, at 5,895 meters it is the highest free standing mountain in the world. If all goes well I will reach the summit on my 47th birthday!! in September 2009.

Not only do I consider this to be a physical and mental challenge for myself, I decided to use this opportunity to raise  money through sponsorship for the charity Epilepsy Action.

My own personal contribution and the company I work for G&B Electronics Design Ltd,  http://www.gandbelectronics.co.uk/ , specifically my boss George McBrown, will cover most of the cost of the challenge. Therefore, all donations and funds raised will go directly to Epilepsy Action.

Epilepsy Action will receive your money electronically and, if you’re a taxpayer, an extra 28% in gift aid will be added  to your donation at no cost to you. Unfortunately if you are related to me you cannot claim gift aid.
