Story
Hi
Two work colleagues from Cobham Aviation Services at Teesside (formerly FR Aviation) recently had their lives saved by the prompt intervention of the Great North Air Ambulance which is entirely funded by charitable donations. As part of a fundraising initiative from Cobham's Teesside base, Rick Offord, Rupert Dunn and Spike 'The Whippet' Jepson will be participating in the Stokesley Spring Duathalon which is a 5km run, followed by a 30km cycle, finishing off with another 5km run.
Any sponsorship for Ricko, Rupes and Spike to help the Great North Air Ambulance will be greatfully received. As an added incentive, if you leave a single time with your donation message, the closest to each of our Duathlon times will receive a bottle of champagne by post from each of us. As a hint, the 2008 winner finished in 01:34:18 and number 171 finished in 02:26:09. We cannot guarantee to finish inside this time bracket - in particular the right-hand edge!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Great North Air Ambulance Service gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks.
Ricko, Rupes & Whippet
