This year I will be participating in Movember, for which Tina is delighted!  I won’t be donating to the usual Movember cause, but will be donating to two other cancer charities that are close to my heart.  I ask you to dig deep and support me for the good causes I’m doing this for and also for sympathy due to the grief I’m getting from Tina for having facial hair again after so long!

This cause, The Ashgate Hospice near Chesterfield.  My close friend Sarah Dewhurst, or “Sis” as I jokingly called her, spent her last days there last year after succumbing to secondary cancers.

They were amazing and made her as comfortable as possible during her difficult time there.  Sarah was such a kind and caring person, she deserved the care she received and I miss her dearly.  I’d like to go some way to ensure others can benefit from the work they do as well as thank them for what they did for Sarah.
