Story

Hey Guys!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page :-)

As some of you already know, I am going to be running (or crawling) the first EVER Brighton Marathon this year, for children's medical charity, Sparks!

Sparks are a charity who are striving for the health and happiness of young children who have suffered developmental conditions or disorders. Their work really makes a difference - the breakthroughs they have made in the last few years have helped thousands of children, who otherwise may not have survived. They are currently funding 48 new research projects including investigations into the genetics of cleft lip and/or palate, early detection of childhood leukaemia and nutritional methods of promoting nervous system development in cerebral palsy (this is the Biologist in me talking).

Join me and help this fantastic charity continue with all of their brilliant work in improving the lives of tomorrow's children. While you're here, why not donate now? If everyone on my friend list on facebook donates just £2, we could raise £800 for the charity and really make a difference. What does £2 really get you these days anyway? Half a one-way journey to zone 1? Donating is money well spent!

Don't leave it until later, we all know what happens!

About the charity

Sparks raises money to fund pioneering child health research across the UK, helping to find new treatments and cures for children and families who desperately need them.
