Mike Roach was well known and respected throughout the Town. He was an outstanding sportsman and the life and soul of any party. His brother, John, who was also an outstanding sportsman died when only in his 40's. Mike in memory of John undertook numerous charity raising events and raised tens of thousands of pounds for St. Roccos, Warrington's local hospice. Unbelievably Mike died last year aged 50 of cancer and stayed a while in St. Roccos. The lads from Greenalls F.C., where Mike and John played, last year undertook the Coast to Coast ride in Mike's memory and raised over £10,000 cash for St. Roccos.
We are undertaking this venture again and hope that the response will be as generous and positive as it was last year.
Cancer is a respecter of no one and we all know somebody who has benefited from Hospice care in their last days. Please give as generously as your circumstances allow.
Every penny will help to ease someone's pain.
Many thanks for your generous support.
