Story
Thanks for taking the time to look at this page. This year I will be taking part in all 5 of the Great Swim series. Each is an open water swim in lake, loch and dock and I will be raising money for Oxfam.
Oxfam do great things all over the World to help overcome poverty and suffering. Oxfam not only respond to emergencies with aid and support but they also help those in severe poverty to become self-sufficient and campaign to make poverty history.
My training has involved many early mornings in the pool and even earlier mornings to practice in the cold, murky waters outside!
Wish me luck and donate below
Thank you
Rob
I'm aiming to do each of the mile swims in 30 mins and will update the times on here:
The last one turned out to be the toughest! The 2Km course was reduced to 1 mile due to 'unseasonably cold weather' which brought the water temperature down to a bracing 12.8C.
Thank you all that have donated
