Family, friends, colleagues & visitors... Thank you for logging onto my 'Just Giving' page, just viewing my page means a lot to me! As you may already know, I'm into my Health, Fitness & Wellbeing and I'm now ready for the biggest challenge of my life - the Virgin London Marathon! On the 13th of April 2014, I will be pushing myself to the limit to run the famous 26 mile race through the heart of London. However, I couldn't possibly run this race alone. I'm running with the full support of a small Charity close to my family; MS-UK. MS-UK (www.ms-uk.org) is a charity supporting MS sufferers throughout their life, helping them live with dignity and independence.

 

As you may already know, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) has had its affect on my family, striking my cousin Amanda in the midst of her career. MS is currently an incurable disease. It isn't hereditary nor is it contagious; it’s an illness that can strike any person at any time of their life. This happened to Amanda, suffering with this condition for the past 10 years. Although she has had some very bad times, she still is the most kind, thoughtful and generous person you could ever hope to meet – always putting others before herself. There will come a time when she will have to let others help her and this organisation will be there for her and her family. With your help by way of donation large or small to my page, you'll be contributing hugely to a charity already making a difference.
