Story

Thank you for visiting our Rob Roy Challenge fundraising page.

The Rob Roy Challenge involves a 16 mile walk/run from Drymen to Callander followed by a 39 mile Mountain Bike ride on to Kenmore.

We are doing this to raise money for the Prince’s Trust, one of this year’s chosen charities for the 2009 Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge. Have a look at their website for more info: www.robroychallenge.com. We have set a target of raising £4,000 as a team so please support us, we know times are difficult and every pound that you can donate will go a long way to helping young people !!

We are aiming to beat our time from 2007 of 7 hours and 5 minutes that placed us 53 out of 535 competitors who completed the full distance. With an expanded squad of 12 split into 2 teams this year the competition is fierce!!

We would really appreciate your generous donations in support of our challenge - never mind our pain through blisters, pulled hamstrings and sore backsides ! I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.
