We did it! We started at midnight, didn't get to bed till 5.30am and it was MUCH harder than we thought it would be! But we did it - and it's not too late to donate some money, especially if the technical problems of the JustGiving page have prevented you from doing to up to now.

The fact that you're reading this means that, for once, the website must be working properly, although it has been overwhelmed by messages of complaint from hundreds of people who fear they've lost money from the computer crashing.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. (You can tell this last paragraph for you to include on your web page when you come to compose it, can't you? Nothing there about technical disasters preventing people logging on...)
