Story

Hi thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 26th April 2009 I'll be running the London Marathon! and I need to raise lots of cash in aid of the Orpheus Centre, a great local charity based in Godstone, Surrey which I've been involved with for some time. It's a residential performing arts college for young disabled people that provides students with opportunities to create and perform music, dance and drama as well as helping them develop important life-skills. Being a musician myself I know how much difference it makes picking up my guitar and playing one of my favourite songs, especially if I've had a bad day! The Centre helps disabled people our age do this kind of thing every day and if we can raise enough money to buy them a new drum kit for instance; think how much happiness and confidence we could help bring to someone's life who has to face so much adversity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Orpheus Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Cheers,

Roger
