Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Last year 6 plucky lads from Sevenoaks raised over £3000 by completing the Mongol Rally. A 10,000 mile dash across 1/4 of the globe, in cars you would most likely see in a scrap heap. Hungry for more adventure 1/3 of the orginal team,  Mr Ben Draper and Tim Surrey have teamed up with Mr Leo Fernandes and Miss Rachel Dunckley to participate in the Rickshaw Run, a 2000 mile dash from the southan tip of India to Kathmandu in Nepal. Only 2000 miles you say! so to make this a proper challenge the journey will be made in the iconic rickshaw boasting a 145.45cc engine and a whopping 7 horse power, sure to thrill at its top speed of 40mph. The adventure begins on boxing day at which point you will be able to track our progress online, untill that point visit out website at http://rickshawrun08.theadventurists.com/index.php?mode=team&sub=display&name=rogue2

We are raising money for  Mercy Corps. Mercy Corps' assistance to India dates back to January 2001 when the agency responded to a devastating earthquake in Gujarat . Today, Mercy Corps is working in India to build community collaboration and fulfil dire health and economic needs. Check out the amazing projects at www.mercycorps.org.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mercy Corps Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Many thanks for your support.
