Hello everyone

This year I've been lucky enough to secure a place in the Virgin London Marathon where I'll be running for a wonderful charity called Baby Lifeline. They do some fantastic work raising money to support mothers and babies when it's needed the most. As the charity has grown their presence has spread nationally and to date they have contributed more than £5 million to Britain's maternity hospitals and services. However, I'm told by Baby Lifeline that despite the modern day advances in medical care more than 8,500 babies still die at or around the time of birth.

I feel very privileged to be running the Virgin London Marathon for such a worthwhile charity. It would be great to help raise as much money as possible so any donations would be hugely appreciated.
