<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>My Aunt volunteers for Guide Dogs as a puppy walker, which means she looks after puppies until they are of training age - and sometimes she looks after guide dogs when they are between owners.</p> <p>Her puppy walking cohorts are fund raising to finance a new guide dog and at xmas dinner I promised to raise money for them via a charity run - so I'm running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on 22nd May.</p> <p>Guide Dogs receive no funding other than donations and each dog costs several thousand pounds to go from puppy to fully trained guide dog.</p> <p>This might not be a mainstream charity but it makes a real and immediate difference to those who benefit from a guide dog.</p> <p>Thanks for looking and thanks for donating.</p>
